Sonic - Sketch

Year: 2005

Another piece of vintage, this time about my all-time favourite videogame character!

I grew up with the Sega Master System and Sega Mega Drive, and if there's any cartridge willing to be sent to the Heaven of Games from abusing them I should say any Sonic-related one. Hell, I owe almost every one for those systems and nowadays I still replay them!! Not that I hate the rest of genres or companies (in fact I didn't owe a Saturn or Dreamcast since two years ago or so, and after my PSX I bought the GameCube because I knew they were going to sell Sonic Adventure 2 for it!!), but if I want to do some fast playing to something, my first choice will always be Sonic.

That's a US style Sonic. I don't really like it but when I was little I think I saw more of this style than the japanese one, so it's kind of unvolunteer drawing we have here XD. Anyway, I prefer drawing the japanese-style one, it's cuter!

Una altra peça de les antigues! Aquest cop basada en el meu personatge preferit de videojoc de tots els temps: en Sonic!

Què puc dir, vaig créixer amb la Master System i la Mega Drive, i els jocs del Sonic deuen estar desitjant que els jubili de les vegades que n'he arribat a abusar! Osti, és que gairebé els tinc tots i avui dia encara els rejugo! No és que no m'agradin la resta de gèneres o companyies (posseeixo de totes i cadascuna d'elles), però a l'hora de fer partidetes ràpides i satisfactòries no hi ha lloc a dubte, sempre serà un Sonic.

L'estil que he reproduït és el de l'artwork americà del Sonic, bàsicament perquè és el que més he mamat tot i no agradar-me gaire (prefereixo dibuixar el japonès, que és més bufó XD).
